Thanksgiving, November 26, 2010

We have so many blessings we are thankful for: our health, families, friends, and most of all the Gospel.

This year's Thanksgiving dinner was at our house. Almost everyone was there except for Nanay and Tatay - Nanay was not feeling well :(

Irvine, Lancaster, Acton, and Wood Ranch all gathered in one place - it was crowded, loud, but so much fun.

You'd notice that we already had Christmas decorations up eventhough it was only Thanksgiving (ehem) - well, I have a perfectly good excuse - it takes me two weeks to do the decorations and I would not have been able to enjoy the fruits of my labor had I done them after Thanksgiving - so there. Enjoy the pictures!

Everyone brought their specialty. By the time we've put everything together, it was quite a feast.

I think we could have fed 3X more people with the amount of food that we have - to go orders anyone?

Nene and Samantha having fun at the buffet line.

Samantha trying to see how it's like to be short. Hah!

What's Thanksgiving without the Turkey - 22lbs - and I made 2 - so yummy and moist too.

Overflow seating in the living room. Chickering and Dela Cruz, Bart, Danny, Rose and Lora.

Tige, Barry and Samantha and let's not forget Kaye in the back. So hard to get a pic of her.

Lee, Janelle, and Angelica - cousins having a good time.

Mel's family: his wife Lynn and mother-in-law Zeni Arceo.

Nene and Noel - so sweet.

Our hard working Danny was actually able to be off work today - Haleluya it's a miracle!

Fernan, Marilou and Ashley - good looking family except maybe Fernan - jkl.

Neil and Toni, and baby Trent Chickering. Hey Toni - you're getting younger everytime I see you.

Erin and Ashley - what are these girls fishing for? I wonder if their moms know - hmmm.

Looks like they're having a lot of fun. Their hands must be frozen.

In the meantime, the Xbox players are intent on killing as many aliens as possible.

Wait - I think Roger is ready to jump into the fray! Help - we need Xbox anonymous.

Rose and Nene - don't they beautiful? Good friends, good food, good life, ahhh.

I wonder what she's up to? I worry about that look - maybe she needs Activia?

Barry, Tige, and Dad Bart.

Roger and Lee look confused - must be from too much Xbox! (I'm going to hear about this one). Hi Tracy!

I think Noel is eyeing the mountain load of dishes waiting for him at the sink.

He's here posing before he starts doing the dishes just to make sure he's still pogi. Smile!

What is a get together without playing tongit - we can't live without it.

Lancaster and Irvine started leaving early - they have long drives ahead of them.

Sam's friends Lina and Linda - they came the next day to eat left overs.

We're not done with decorating. Lee and Roger are setting up the winter wonderland village in the den.

They did such a good job too!!! Thank you.
